I Feel Like I Have To Go To College?

I look at my mother who never went to college and she is miserable, but the guy i work with (manager of a music store) says that he loves his job and didn’t go go college. I feel like if i don’t go to college, i’ll be in some dead end job i hate. Any people here who have never gone to college and have a great job and life?

There’s plenty of people just none that I know. But it’s up to you and as long as you find something you enjoy and can appreciate doing.

No I dont think it is necessary to go to college if the occupation is one that dosent speciofically need the qualifiction .

I guess this is a question from the U.S . We have a bok published recently in England Called Happy mondays and some of the people that are happpeist inn thier work are not at college ?university level .

Succes is what YOU want to get out of life , Mines lazing around and being as big a burden to the state by living to 100

As I have so amy many many qualifuications and I cant get anyomne to give me a DECENT job , so I’m conserving my energy

Dont let a wife or girlfriend set your goals to suit THEIR Agenda !

getting a good education is not only about getting a good job. Life is after all full of examples of highly qualified people who are in dreary jobs!

Why don’t you rather savor the other benefits of a good education – it takes you from the mundane to the extraordinary, it opens doors for you, enables you to become a better person, well informed, being able to make rational, well-thought-through decisions. With a good education you do not have to be anyone’s slave, but be able to separate the wheat from the chaff.

there are people out there that have never gone to college, or let alone finished high school and they have jobs that they like. if you go to college you get the prestige of having a degree and it does make it easier for you to get a better paying job. college is about learning something that is of interest of you. college does not necessarily mean a job that you are going to like. good luck!

You may “want” to go to college. You feel like you “have” to go to the bathroom. College is a great place to go if you either know what you want to do or don’t know what you want to do. A great place for exploration into many of lifes possiblitites. And if you have direction and goals for your life it’s a great place to make them happen. Good luck.

I think you need to take a breath. You are tired. Go somewhere else were you can take a breath and relax. You are bored and probably been working heavily. When you have done this, feel yourself and listen to your heart. Its not the mind that make us happy, instead its our heart when satisfied. After this decide and go for it. Wish you luck!
