I am very interested in going to college but I dont kno what to study art or physical therapy?
I am seventeen and searching what should I major in college. I love everything that has to do with art i can do it all day. I also was thinking about studying physical therapy. I dont kno whats best for me. Should I do both i just need an adults opinion

Definitely physical therapy. There are a lot of jobs in that field and the pay is good. My sister-in-law has a degree in art and she worked at Enterprise Rent-A-Car…Not many jobs in the art field. You could always minor in art and still do it as a hobby.
Just thought of this: Art Therapy. This is a practice used by some therapists, with children or those with special needs. Look it up.

Think of the future…in 20 years for now when you are 37 which would you rather be doing every day. Art or Physical therapy?
There is no reason why you couldn’t study physical therapy with art as a minor….but not the other way around.
A number of rehabilitation institutions include art in there physical therapy curriculum.

As far as which one can be more lucrative I think learning to be an art appraiser can make you much more money in a very short amount of time. You would be amazed at how some art work can bring such high dollar amounts. Just watch the Antique Roads show and compare how some paintings and other antiques or collectibles can be worth thousands and bought for nearly nothing.
