At the hospital where I work, this does allow you to be just a “phlebotomist”. Your training allows you to work in a doctor’s office, and have a little more skill than that of just a plan Medical Assiting class. It depends on where you will be working as to what they classify you as.

Good Luck!

I don’t know anything about Indiana – but a phlebotomist can always find a job and the pay is pretty good – better than a medical assistant.

when you finish your training you should be good to go – but ask the teacher, or go to the career counselor at the school and ask if you need supervised internship and whether there is a licensure process after you finish this course.

good job for getting the training and good luck
