How much did you spend on stuff for college? EASY BEST ANSWER!!!?

I mean the total amount, on EVERYTHING…furniture, bedding, decorations, appliances, new clothes, new electronics, EVERYTHING except your car. Supplies only, not your rent. Also please include if you are going to be living in an apartment or a dorm.

I had to buy a ton of things, and I’m not finished. If you are counting the Laptop (which was about $1900-2000), I probably spent $3000+. Your linens could easily cost you $200+. And I still haven’t finished buying everything yet, although I really only have cheap things left to buy, as well as a blanket for my bed.

I don’t know the exact amount, as I haven’t tallied everything. I think I may be overestimating, but not by too much. I’ll think I’ll be at $3000 when I finish buying things.

Expenses could very heavily, depending on whether you have to bring in furniture or a computer (which you will, but maybe you already own one).

Don’t forget about books–I haven’t factored them into my costs yet because I don’t know the costs. I’m not including them in the $3000.

By the way, I am going to be in a dorm for all four years.

I’m going into my third year, and I live in an apartment during the school year. I have spent nothing for this year because I have all of my old junk yet … ain’t beat my laptop past repair, didn’t break the couch from pillow fighting yet, still jump on the bed & haven’t broken it so far, got some note books from my cousins although the notebooks do say “University of North Dakota” on the cover while I go to college near St. Paul, MN — I could get beaten up for that and then I’d have a hospital bill, and my roommies ain’t beat the hell out of my mp3 or radio no matter how bad my music tastes are. I don’t really go for the whole ‘buy new clothes each school year’ thing, but I’ve picked up a few random clothes over the summer although they’re not specifically for school. So, yeah, I’ve basically got everything I need. I hope that you aren’t looking for tuition amounts though because then that “nothing” changes to something, but even then it’s not too much because I luckily got a lot of scholarships just for being valedictorian of my high school class.

Okay, well I live in a dorm, but this is my 3rd year so I didn’t have to buy everything new. I spent around a hundred dollars to get new sheets, some cleaning supplies, etc. My first year I probably spent $300. I had a laptop and printer given to me as a graduation gift so luckily I didn’t have to buy it. I didn’t have to buy any furniture for the dorm, so this was just bedding, decorations, supplies, a toaster (dorm came with microwave), blender, clothes, and bathroom stuff. I easily could have spent more, but I mostly just spent the money and gift certificates I got from graduation and shopped a lot of clearance sales. Then I don’t know if you want to know this or not, but once I get to college I’ve spent anywhere from $350-$600 on textbooks each semester. 🙁

I went for nursing major. I finished first three years of G.E in a Junior college. Since University charge triple the amount for the same courses, I decided to choose this route. I applied for financial aid and got approved, so I didn’t have loans. Unlike my other friends who went straight to University, had to take loans and they are still paying off their loans. I got $2500 each year from Financial Aid. My friend got $5000 each year. It was more than we needed. I stayed at home. It was economical. Then for my B.S, I transferred out to a University. By that time I was a RN already. My hospital paid for my further education.

sounds such as you have already made your concepts up and you in simple terms decide on people to inform you you’re making the remarkable determination. yet particular, i could end it. Relationships are while 2 people who make one yet another happy decide directly to be jointly and that’s no longer what you have. Sorry dude, suitable of luck.
