3 or four is just right. one should be a safe one you know you will get in to and two others ones you hope for.

you write the essayd on the applications online, theyu leave a place for it, or you can also type it in word or works and attach the file to the application.

good luck

4 is good, you can apply to more if you are not comfortable about getting in to any of the one s you applied to. if you have to do essays on the online application there should be a box where you can type them in. most college applications require you to make a screenname and password so you can return to work on the application and essays that are on there.

As many as you would like to try to go to. There is no set no. 4 is a good number, but if you know exactly where you want to go and will not go anywhere else no matter what, don’t apply at any others. It is mostly for your knowledge that they will accept you and you have the option of going somewhere else. The Essay question I’m even asking. If you find out, tell me. I researched and the one I find is asking for money.

how many you apply to depends on your grades and SAT’s. Not all applications have essays, so if it doesn’t ask for it online there probably isn’t one. Send an email to the admissions office to make sure.

Apply to as many as you can afford to (if there are fees). You ‘can’t’ apply to too many in my opinion. Each college will have their own procedures which allow you to submit your essays (if they’re required). Usually the answer to the essay question will be in the college’s application packet.

Try around 5-6:

Have at least one “high-reach” school that might be hard to get into, but that you still have a chance for,

and at least one “easy” school- one that you’re almost garunteed acceptance because you surpass their expectations. This way, if all the other schools dont work out for you, you still have this one to fall back on

*just make sure you can see yourself at every school you apply to- you dont want to end up going somewhere and realizing too late that you didnt want to go there as much as you thought you did.

You can apply to as many schools as you want to. I’ve known people to apply for only two and they got into both, I’ve also known people who have applied to 10 schools. It just depends on where you want to live, what you want to study and how many back-up schools you want to have. Sorry, but I don’t know the answer to the second part of your question as I haven’t yet applied for a four year school.

I only applied to two. I would have only applied to one, but my mom wanted me to be safe and apply to another one too. It all depends on if you meet the school criteria.. SAT & ACT scores.. high school GPA.. things like that.

I sent both of my applications in the mail, so I don’ t know about the online ones.
