You’ll have to get a bachelors degree, which is four years, and then another four years to get the veterinary degree. So thats 8 in total after you’ve finished high school. The following two websites are great resources for people interesting in becoming a vet.

Four years.

Usually a four-year bachelors program. If prerequisites are not finished in the four years, the vet school usually requires another year to finish those before being admitted.

You have to get an bachelor’s degree and that will take at least 4 years. Vet school is also four years. To get into vet school, you need awesome grades, great GRE scores, and volunteer experience with a vet.
