How is a nonimmigrant LA high school student get accepted by universities?
I have a kid (very smart). She has attended schools since she was 7, but she is a non-immigrant student. I have no idea how the american university works. Can she continue to study in a university without a visa? (Her original visa expired long time ago) If she can, what the nescessary process, I need to prepare? Please explain how it works.

Usually, illegal inmigrants are not allowed to enter University. You need a student visa for that. Otherwise, she might only be able to do high school. There are some colleges that accept inmigrants as long as they have a high school diploma from the US, you need to find out if that exists in your area/. But who knows, the laws may change any minute, probably by the time she reaches the age out of high school the situation is different.
