How do I become a Gov’t or Spanish teacher?
My sister majored in Liberal Studies because she became a teacher of lower education (6th grade and lower) – I would like to be specifically a Spanish or Gov’t teacher. What do I need to get there? Do I first need to major in Political Science or Spanish…or is Education something else I need as a B.A.? My school (UCSB) only has Education for graduates…not undergrads like me. What do I do?

Get a degree with 2 majors if possible in Political Science and Spanish then following the Master’s program for secondary teacher certification. It looks like that’s all UCSB has at the moment.
