Good Luck!!!
1) Redo your worst grade 12 courses. I am sure you have no rush in getting into university, so instead of applying, redo some courses and put effort into them. Give it your best and when you feel like slacking off or going out with friends, remember that your future is at stake. However, before doing this, check to make sure the university’s you want to go to accept the highest mark of courses that you redo. If they don’t then there’s no point in doing what I have suggested.
2) Extracurriculars and SAT’s! Those are two other major components that unviersities look at. If you have an excellent SAT score (over 2000) then you have a chance getting into university, even though your average is a D. Also if you are an active member of your community and volunteer, etc. then you also have a better chance of making it in.
3) Consider going into a skilled trade or a field that doesn;t require higher education. If my frist two suggestions don’t work then you can always do this and live your life without education. Remember that not all of the world’s millionaires have an education!
Best of luck and I hope I helped!
The best way to do this is to go to a junior/community college for your first two years, earn good grades, then make the jump to the college you want.
One hint: lots of people put in a lot of work in a junior college to earn credits they later learn will not transfer or will only transfer as elective credit. To prevent such a loss, go to the registrar’s office of the university you are targeting and request a list of courses they will accept for full credit from the community college you will attend. Then simply take nothing but those courses.
If you really had to struggle for the poor grades, you might want to take a light load while starting out. A 12 semester hour load is light enough to give you lots of time to work on each subject, but it still qualifies you as a full-time student for financial aid.
Good luck.
Aside from this, go to community college, get straight A’s, finish your bachelor’s at any university while doing lots of volunteering and internships, then try for grad school at one of the top universities.
