I just graduated. For me, little rewards work the best. I also was more motivated if I did not go back to my dorm or apartment (depends on the year). I also wouldn’t allow myself to go out or have fun if I didn’t do what needed to be done for the day. In between classes I would do my readings/homework. I never tried to cram everything into one day. I would break it up so it wasn’t overwhelming, and there was some kind of treat like tv, a party, movie, shopping, etc.

How long have you been in college? What are you striving for as a career?

It could be that you are experiencing a temporary burnout.

This is not the time to have a burnout.

You will need to get a Tudor or find a way that can get you motivated into doing this homework and get in there and get it done!

It is not an option and doing homework is part of you passing the class and getting on with your life.

Not everyone likes homework or their jobs. But you have no choice in this matter.

Go outside for a 3 mile walk, eat a healthy dinner and take a shower before sitting down to do this homework. It will rejuvenate your mind.

Imagine yourself working for minimum wage in a job you despise, feeling more trapped and hopeless than you ever have in your entire life, not having enough money to buy food and pay the rent on your crappy roach-infested apartment or fix your old broken down wreck of a car and being sick but not able to see a doctor because you can’t afford health insurance and you have to drag yourself to work even when you are sick as a dog because your check is too small already and you have no sick leave at the only dead-end job you were able to find because you DIDN’T DO YOUR HOMEWORK and get an education that would have enabled you to get a good job that you love with higher pay and benefits.

Now go do your homework and do it the best you can. Compete with your self. In fact, make it a challenge to do the best possible work and each time get better than you were last time. The best thing about competing with yourself is you can’t lose.

i think of that it is a very solid question, and that i’m hoping that many human beings will study this, by way of fact I pay attention lots ‘damaging motivation’ leveled in the direction of babies relatively in game. I consistently proceed to motivate my childrens while they do nicely, by way of fact they are going to have mess united statesin existence, and that i’m no longer consistently going to be around. i think that they must consistently shop up wish…that no longer something is over till it is over, and not something could be performed by way of being damaging. finally, i’m hoping they are discovering to maintain issues in perspective. existence is lots bigger than a soccer activity or a math grade.

think of how much money college costs and what a debt you will be in with no degree and no higher paying job to pay it off.
