Help Me Pick A Job PLEASE!!?

I skipped a grade and so I will be graduating from high school at the age of 16. I’m able to get good marks so that really isn’t

an issue.

My top motivators for a job are:

-work with numbers

-get to travel to different locations

-get to pick in which state/city I want to live

-not the same thing every day

-good salary 😀

Also studies that interest me are:

-Anthropology

-Archaeology

-Studies involving money and the stock market/stats

-Business

If you know any professions/university courses that would meet some if not all of these points please, please let me know!!! I’m sorry I’m so diversified lol.

Hey, we’re on similar turf! I didn’t skip a grade, I’m still a Junior, but I’m going to college full time my Junior and Senior years. I would say some of your choices are:

Archaeology:

-Travel to different locations

-Not do the same thing every day

-Includes anthropology and acheology

-Not sure about salary…

-I’m sure you could find a way to put numbers in there

Business:

-Work w/ numbers

-Travel to different locations

-Pick city/state you want to live in

-Not the same thing everyday

-Good salery(Maybe not so much to start with, but later on)

-If you go international: Anthropology could be useful

-Involves money and the stock market

-And of course, it includes business

Maybe you could own an achaeology business?

As for education, major in whichever career you want and you can minor in whatever else you are interested in.

Good luck! I hope this helped!

If you like working with numbers and are interested in Anthropology and Archeology then let me suggest a career in Forensic Science. West Virginia University has one of the best Forensic Science departments in the United States. If your more interested in statistics you might want to pursue a career in Marketing. A career in marketing will allow you to work with numbers and statistics in a business environment.

I would recommend taking a test called Strengthsquest which can be found at Strengthsquest.com. This test identifies your strengths. In order to take the test you must buy the book, but the cost of the book is worth it. Once you receive the book it will give you an access code to the Strengthsquest test. You can identify your personal strengths and match them to careers you would excel in. This test I know is given to all freshmen at a local college to help students decide on the right career path.

i would chose business which includes finance (stock markets and such) b/c you can venture into any industry like a travel agent or even hospitality (hotels and cruise lines) and you could be an accountant for the travel industry but archaeology and anthropology usually require grad school to get the dream job so take that into account
