Most (if not all) vet schools will require you to take the general GRE. Some may require you to take the the GRE biology test. I am not familiar with the admission requirements of every vet school. Each school is a little different in what they require so make sure to check out each school you are interested in.

If you are not sure what school you are most interested in, your safe bet would be to take the general GRE.

You recounted UC Davis – it is likely one of the best and so much aggressive veterinary faculties within the nation. They admit ~12% of the candidates. The normal age of admission is ~25 given that many men and women paintings in a few veterinary area for a few years among undergraduate and vet university. Doing your undergraduate paintings at UC Davis does now not upgrade your possibilities of admission to UCD’s vet university.
