At the university I am currently attending it is a hassle to get through their education program. I have passed the math, reading, English, and general content knowledge for elementary education sections of the Praxis all I have left to take is the lesson plan writing part which you are not supposed to take until you have taken a methods class. I have been in college for 4 years and working on my 5th. I found out last week that I could graduate next December in general studies or I could spend the next two years working on my elementary education degree (I have 2 years of classes left). I really want to teach 3rd grade. Would it be worth sticking it out and getting my education degree or should I graduate in general studies and apply for a teaching job, letting the school pay for me to finish my education degree? (I’m so undecided someone please help)
