The cold hard truth is that your scores are REALLY low. Most universities would have trouble accepting you. The main thing you should be worried about though is whether or not you really want to go to a state university. In other words, are you sure you’re ready to do that? It doesn’t seem like you have the academic skills necessary for college level classes. Be honest with yourself and avoiding putting yourself in a situation where your most likely to fail.

Here’s what you should do. Get into a community college and stay there for 2 years. This will give you a chance to get more prepared for university, help you realize if you really do want to go to university, and help you build credit hours for transferring to a university after you finish community college. It is much easier to get into a university if you have gone to a community college. Another huge bonus is that community college is way cheaper than university (in case you’re trying to figure out a way to sell this to your parents).

Let’s say that you get a “c” average in your community college classes. When/if you transfer to a university the credit hours will go with you but the grades won’t. This could be great because as you start getting better at doing university level work, understanding the system, and building a support system your grades will get better.

This probably isn’t the magical answer you were hoping for but it is one that should give you hope.

umm.. I’m not sure what your chances are.

you can check with collegedata.com

they compare your scores with those who have been accepted last year. so you can see what your chances of getting in are like.
