Does SUNY New Paltz allow opposite-sex roommates?

I strongly doubt that New Paltz is one of those schools, but you can call the office of residence life and ask:

The floors are coed, though, and if one of you gets a single, you can pretty much stay together whenever you’d like. But trust me–it’s not that big a deal if you can’t live together.
I believe all Suny New Paltz freshman must live on campus unless they’re commuting from home, so getting an off-campus apartment is probably out.

Many colleges do have co-ed dormitories, so you could at least be in the same building.
And to the person below me, you are obviously a high school drop out. Co-Ed Dorms are when guys and girls live on the the same floor, BUT NOT IN THE SAME UNIT!
