Does anyone know of a student who was rejected from college b/c of their myspace, facebook or blog site??
Sometimes college admissions officers use Facebook or Myspace to check out prospective students, does anyone know someone this has happened to?

No, I don’t, but people using these sites tend to forget that it IS a public forum that anyone can access. I have not heard of colleges doing this, but I do know that a lot of companies check facebook and other sites when considering potential employees.

I’ve never heard of that, but there was a woman who was denied her degree because of her my space pictures.

no, but at my school we can get written up if an administrator finds drunk pictures of you of facebook…so don’t let your friends tag you!
