The normal course of study in order to become a RPh is 5 years. If you already have a BS in either Biology or Chemistry it’s 3 years. To study an additional 6th year you become a RPhD which is a clinical pharmacist that works closely with doctors. Please note that you do not need to have a degree in New Jersey to go to pharmacy school.
