doctors!!!!?

Do you think that nurses and doctors, engineers and line workers, or any differences in disciplines that have obvious gaps in educational levels will ever be on the same page when it comes to communication?

I don’t know about engineer and line workers, but I can help on the part of doctors and nurses. It’s not that there is a gap in education levels between doctors and nurses; it’s that they’re trained for different things. The doctor is more disease-focused and concentrates more in curing. The nurse, on the other hand, is not a “subordinate version of the doctor”. The nurse’s role is the patient’s advocate; he/she makes sure the patient is comfortable, gets the patient’s voice heard and helps improve quality of living.

As for as I know, doctors and nurses do speak the same language and don’t have problems communicating. They use the same medical terminology and documentation abbreviations to communicate the patient’s needs.
