do I count as an international student? I’ve lived in Asia for years but I’m an American citizen?

I’m guessing you would be considered a non-resident student rather than an international student (unless you had dual citizenship). A non-resident student would be someone from another state where a resident would be someone from the same state.

Ha ha. You wish!

Well, if you are in Asia now you could be an international student.

I had the same problem, I wasn’t sure, and I guess it depends on the college, cause I then realized I wasn’t considered international to the college I got accepted at, I think to be internatonal is to need a visa to study in the U.S.
