As long as the schools are accredited. The best places to go are schools that are brick and mortar- that offer online programs. One example is NAU (Northern AZ University) offers an exclusively online masters program.

CA stands for Chartered Accountant. The value of Distance Education depends on which field you are in. MS/MTech distance education from reputed Colleges like BITS Pilani, IIT’s and foreign does carry some weightage in Software industry if pursued while working.

I’m a professional recruiter in Chicago and as soon as I see an online degree on a resume I recycle it. At the end of the day, if the only qualifcations you need to get into a school is that you can pay for it, it carries a very low value compared to a state school that may not be great, but is a real school.
