I’m not really sure what your asking? Flip flops are in right now as well as slip on flats.As far as saftey,they aren’t. In school if someone steps on the back of them while your walking your going down. And if something falls on your foot there is nothing to protect your foot.Your feet also get filthy when you wear them and if you need to run your speed will be decreased by at least half. Flip Flops are good for the pool and the beach and for just around and they are great for a really hot day but that’s about it.They are inexpensive and they can pull an outfit together quickly.To sum it up for a casual thing they are good as far as funtionability a thumbs down.
