Some people pay their way through college with grants. Go to your library and find a book on grants, or agencies that supply individual grants to college students.
Your last resort is a subsidized or unsubsidized Stafford loan.
Many of us had to go that route. But it’s a good investment in the end, because it doesn’t have to be repaid until you graduate, and can still be postponed if you’re in graduate school.

I guess you can say it’ll be counted against you because you financial aid package will be lowered if you receive outside scholarships.

you can try for grants student bank loans or try to get a parent loan there is money out there you just have to know where to look and what your looking for
