Each college and each program is different. A college may have a certain number of credits you must meet, and then the major also has a certain number. You have to look up the schools you are interested in going to, then look up the degree requirements you are interested in…that will tell you.
Generally I think a good average, in a quarter term college, is 190 credits – 45 per year or 15 credits per term, not counting summer.

It depends on the college and your major subject area. But generally, about 130-180 semester credits are required…roughly about 42-60 courses.
To get a more definitive answer, check the college / university of your choice. Then check on the graduation requirements for the major of your choice.

Every university/degree is different. Consult your school’s course catalog or student handbook to find out.
Here in Texas, most schools require around 120 hours for an undergraduate degree, where each course is on average of 3 hours worth of credit.
