college papers?

Is there a place where I could see sample college papers with grades and comments from professors that received A(+)s?

I would like to know how hard it is to achieve. Thanks!

I have been in college for several years now. You are better off getting samples from someone that has had a particular professors because they all have their own standards and requirements. If you are concerned ask the professor if they have samples of work for what they expect. I am sure most would also read your paper and give you feedback if you get it done in time before it is due. Be sure to ask questions about how they are grading and what is being graded. Many teachers have a check list of what they are looking for and how much each portion is worth. Also many schools provide help and tutoring for paper writing and all subjects usually for free. In the end as long as you work to your full potential you will know you have done your best and success will be a result of that feeling.

There is no place that can really offer you a glimpse of an “A” paper since different professors have different standards and different disciplines have different formats/expectations.

I’ve graded college papers for a couple of years now and there are some things (aside from content) that can help guarantee good grades:

-proper spelling

-the inclusion of citations (even if it’s a little paper) — if you’re citing sources be explicit, it’s ok to quote them

-not using wikipedia as a source

-proper grammar

-a thesis statement

I know these are such basic, obvious things but you would be amazed by how many papers people see that are not even spell checked let alone proof-read for grammatical mistakes. If, in addition to these little things, you actually research/think out the topic and do your best to answer the question at hand.

If you have problems most colleges/universities have writing centers that are there to help you with your writing and researching.

Good luck 🙂

Some instructors post rubrics–descriptions of what they expect for each grade (A, B, C, etc.) and examples. Perhaps a google site search of the university you want to go to might help.

Additionally, many schools (including my own) run papers through a software system that searches the Internet, wikipedia, google, academic papers, and every other essay submitted by many other schools to detect plagiarism. If you are actually trying to get papers to edit and turn in as your own… easily caught.

If you haven’t started college yet, they teach you how to write basic papers in the first year English composition classes (“ENG 101 and ENG 102” or whatever the local college calls them.). If you are really worried about your level of writing and you are past your Sophomore year of high school, sign up for these two classes at your local community college and gauge your writing ability for college off those two classes.

For certain other types of papers, there are specific formats and styles but those are generally taught within the specialized core classes for that area. For example, APA format is usually taught in core psychology classes.

Hey there, there isn’t any place from where you can check for the teacher’s comments on a college paper but yes there are places from where you can see some of the sample college papers to get an idea and can also look for the reviews of those who used those samples. There is one such place that my friend used for her college paper and that is http://bit.ly/1ibiHuM … have it a look .. u might get some help.
