If you tell them in your essay, that you don’t know exactly HOW you’ll be involved, but you’re looking forward to finding out, that might work. Also, look into activities that would suit you (sports? drama? volunteer activity?) and mention those as possibilities if you like. (Maybe mention WHY these are great options for you — because you were the star swimmer in highschool or the lead in the fall play…you know– that kind of thing, tailored to YOUR experience.)
You don’t need to say you’ll be involved in EVERYTHING (even they have to know that’s not feasible), but you should probably say you’re interested in these two or four things in particular, and you don’t KNOW yet.
