It’s probably going to take you a minimum of 2 years to complete that Bachelors because all of the classes you took for the associates level are usually Freshman and Sophomore level classes. A Bachelors degree plans a year’s worth of classes at each level. Also depending on what classes you took at the Associates level, when they look at your chosen degree program for your Bachelors, they may not all transfer to fill requirements.

Usually you find you have way more elective credits than you really need, but they will give you elective credits for almost everything that doesn’t transfer in the the degree requirements.

I’d plan on 3 years, unless you plan to take a full load every semister and go year round then you might get through in 2 years.

I highly doubt. To begin with, an associates degree should only take 2 years. Then when you transfer, some classes may not transfer, especially any that are considered upper level at the new college/university. That was one of my problems….my new college wouldn’t give me credit for calculus 3 that I took at a community college since it was a upper level course there.

Not to my knowledge. All the colleges I know of require the last two years be with them. This is known as upper division courses vs. lower division courses, i.e. your associate degree. Not a bad way to go though. You still save a ton of money going to j.c. then transferring to a four year school for the last two years. That’s how I did it.
