3 is minumum for credit at all. some collages (state universities) dont usualy give credit for 3’s but private can. and top rated schools (harvard, yale, ect) only accept 5’s to their schools at all.

so your chance of getting credits on a 3 is low because some schools dont accept 3’s and schools small enough to accpet 3’s have limited credit transferability.

with a 4 your almost gaurenteed credits at most public schools (ex: UCLA, OSU, ect any state collages)

hope that helped

i personally am really really stressing that i get a 4 on my AP euro exam because scores come back this month. ohhh god

Most schools accept a score of 3 for the AP exam but some require a 4 or even a 5 to get college credit. Anything lower than a 3 you have no chance of getting credit for because it isn’t considered passing but most likely colleges will accept a 3.

Unfortunately, that all depends what college you are looking at. However, I do know you are more likely to get credit for the 4 than the 3. Some schools vary in what they will accept and within schools it can vary for the various subjects.

depends on what subject and what test,

I took AP calculus and got a 4, so I got credit for 1 quarter of college caluclus, if I had gotten a 5 I’d have gotten 2 quarters of credit, but if I had taken the higher level calculus AP exam, it would have been

1 quarter for 3

2 quarters for 4

3 quarters for 5

so you see it all varies by what subject, what level exam etc. you need to ask your school counselor for more info.

dissimilar colleges will settle for a 4, yet some require a 5, which could be required frequently for AP assessments or purely for particular matters. verify with the faculties you’re staring at.

yes, but each college has different standards… so not at every college. Usually you will get more credit for 4s and 5s and minimal credit for 3s. Hope that helps.
