Can someone with superior math skills help me calculate my grade?
Ok, so I took a writing course and here’s how the class is graded:
1st essay =20%
2nd essay = 30%
3rd essay = 40%
Class participation = 10%
Here are my grades
1st essay = B+
2nd essay = B-
3rd essay = pending but I want to know what my grade would look like if I recieve a B+, B- or a C+. If you guys want throw in the C too.
I’ve got the participation grade covered.

It’d be easier if you could tell us the percentages rather than the grade letter. These are weighted averages, and we need the percentages or we’ll have to give you a rough estimate.
For example…
Say that you got 85% on the first essay, 82% on the 2nd essay, and an 77% on the 3rd essay.
We’d make a huge fraction. It’s hard to display this on YA, but I’ll try.
85 (20) +82 (30) + 77(40) + 100(10)/100 (100) (100) (100) (100) (100)
*edit* Well, okay. I’d say you’ll probably get about a B- or a C+.
