Can I just “I” in a Narrative reflection paper?
This is kind of a stupid question but are we allow to use “I” in a narrative reflection paper.. “I” as in “I think that…” “I believe that”…I’m suppose to be writing an essay about my passed educational experience, and my ideas about school…. but I wasn’t if we’re allowed to use “I” or not and I forgot to ask my teacher about it…just want to make sure…

In formal academic writing, “I” has no place; additionally, “I think” or “I believe” actually are weaker positions than simply stating the opinion without the tag.
In a more informal paper, first-person is sometimes acceptable; however, the same observation about the use of tags still applies. Just say what you think or believe without identifying it as your opinion; the reader will assume that!
