Have you already gotten the bad recommendation? If not, why are you worried about it?
If you think this person may write a bad recommendation, then why are you asking him? Wouldn’t you want to ask someone who you know would write GOOD things about you?
If he doesn’t want to write one, then he won’t. You’ll have to find someone else.
You really need to chill out.
