Can i apply to optometry school with a bachelor’s in business???
if not what’s a good major besides biology? i hate biology, but i want to be an optometrist 🙂 thanks in advance

I’ve never looked at optometry schools but most medical schools do not look more favorably upon one degree over another. I knew several history majors who went to med school but chose history over a science major because the classes were simpler.
You should be fine with a bachelors in business, but you should use your electives to build a decent background in whatever subject matter your entrance exams into optometry school would be.

Yes, you’ll just have to make sure that you have the pre-req biology, chemistry (organic and inorganic) and physics courses met (along with the labs). Most Optometry schools will post those requirements on their website, but it’s usually two years worth of each. Check with the school you are thinking of attending for their requirements and then check with schools in your area because some schools will offer post undergrad prepatory programs for med school.

Of course you can but you have to look and see what courses you need to apply for optometry school….Like dental school I need like couple of Bios Chems and a lot of other things….You have to take those courses before you can apply.
