Ok, well for starters you most likely have a few years to work on english (you said you are 13 and most college level people are 18 so you got a few), though your English is pretty good, just practice and you will be ready when you reach college.

Now to get into a college here you can be in a college in Hungary that has an Exchange Program or you can directly apply to a college as a Foriegn Student. Each will have different requirements for acceptance. Your best bet is to find the school you want and find out how they allow students in.

A Baccalaureate is a level of college degree. It is usually a 4 year degree and amounts to somewhere between 120 to 160 credits of classes (depending on the school). So after High School (ages 14-18 usually) you go to college for 4 years (18-22) to get a Bachelors or Baccalaureate Degree in your chosen field.

Now for the Accredited Baccalaureate Degree: all that means is that the school is recognized to teach to an acceptable level. The school has met a standard that says it’s graduating students meat a certain level of skill in their field. That’s the best way I can explain it.

If you are only 13 and you can communicate in English the way you did you will be just fine. Besides, you have a few more years to learn and get better at it before you would come to the USA to learn at a university.

Don’t let the language barrier stop you, especially if you want to learn chemistry. Most sciences like chemistry, math, physics, all have universal symbols.

Accredited baccalaureate means: an undergraduate degree (a bachelors degree) that is granted to a person from an accredited university or college. Accredited universities are those that follow a set of established rules regarding the curriculum (classes they offer). So basically, it means a 4 year degree from a college (most universities are accredited and you can usually find out on their websites if they aren’t).

a baccalaureate degree is the same as a Bachelor’s degree. It is a 4 year undergraduate college degree.

Most schools in the US will ask that you provide a TOEFL score if English is not your native language. You will also have to apply for a student visa because schools will ask that you provide some sort of identification saying that it is ok for you to be in the US. Usually the application for international students takes longer so you may want to apply a year ahead just to get the process going. It takes longer to send things through the mail, like your high school transcript, and then it has to be evaluated. Look at a few college websites and check out thier admissions requirements for international students.
