Billings Montana College of Technology/ Radiologic Technology?
I am pretty Sure I will be going to MSU Billings College of Technology next year. I will be going into Radiologic technology. I was just wondering if anyone had went there and went through that program and if so could they tell me about it what they liked and didn’t like. Or if you went through the program could you tell me how hard it was to get into the radiologic technology program. I am farly smart…but a little worried about not making it into the program after the first semester of core class. Anything would be helpful

One of my good friends from high school did the Radiology program in Billings – quite a few years back. She said that the secret is to stay focused on meeting/exceeding the requirements. Basically put your social life on hold. Your only concern should be making the cut. Show that you can work hard and get stuff done before the assigned deadlines.
Besides the pre-requisites (Anatomy and Physiology, English Composition, Intermediate Algebra, General Psychology and Intro to Physical and Biological Science), you need to have a 3-shot series of Hepatitis B injections, a TB skin test (not a vaccine), and CPR certification (with Adult, Child and Infant CPR with AED training).
