After you are a licensed radiologic technologist (RT), you really don’t need any more formal education. I would work on getting my other licenses. You can become licensed nationally, as well as get a state license, in other modalities, such as CT, MRI, mammography and fluoroscopy. You could also work on getting your ultrasound licenses (RDMS). There are books on the market which help you study for your additional licenses. If I remember correctly, you have to be a RT for a full year before taking additional licensing exams (although, it has been 15 years since I have been through that, so I could be wrong). You could work on getting your BS, if you want, but you won’t get paid more for it. The more modalities you can do, the greater your demand and the higher your salary. Best wishes…..

“maximum intense-paying jobs at present require a minimum of a bachelors degree. ” oh? Radiological technicians could make a stable income. and there is not any longer something announcing which you will no longer decide for a bachelors afterwards…… strengthen you rchances to go up.
