It depends on what you prefer as a future career. The MBA degree prepares you for management positions in a business at any level up to CEO. The degree was originally developed because many engineers who advanced to management positions did not know how to manage, although they had the technological background. An MBA with an undergraduate BE degree is an excellent combination.
The M-Tech degree would prepare you for a career position in technology. You would specialize in your chosen field with a goal of staying in that field rather than moving to a managerial position. You may advance to managing tech people under you, or managing your own department, but you would not have the background to take over other departments such as marketing or finance. Many people would be happy in that situation. A lot depends on your future goals. Examine them carefully and then decide. In either case, you will not be making a mistake.
