Thats a decision I Had to face a few years ago…its a tough one. Living near your home and friends seems like a great option, but you will be missing out on a whole new life experience that you will never be able to go back to. I went to a school over 500 miles away from where I lived…at first(for like 2-3 weeks) I was pretty homesick and though I made a bad decision. Four years and about 30 new friends later I realized it was the best decision I have ever made.I’m much more mature having lived away from home, had a lot of fun, met a lot of people and grew a lot as a person. So go away to school!!! And remember your friends and family are only just a phone call away, plus you can always fly back home for thanksgiving and Christmas.
