When going to university or private collage after earning an A.S. in Liberal Studies, am I a transfer student?
Recently earned A.S. in liberal studies from community college. Looking for university to attend. Wondering if my GPA will be looked at for acceptance from previous college.

Yes, you will be a transfer student. And yes, your new college will look at your GPA. Most schools consider 18 credits as the threshold for transfer, and they want to see a 2.0 GPA. If you graduated with your A.S then chances are you had above a 2.0 so that shouldn’t be a problem.

Yes it will. That is normally how they evaluate transfer students: GPA and teacher recommendations.
Talk to your community college. They should have some information on the best universities to transfer to, and probably have transfer agreements in place with state universities.
