The Wings of life Don Muir and André Daemon finished their journey of their airplane — The Wings of life — in six days, seven hours, 25 minutes and 40 seven seconds. They travelled 36,500 kilometres. With a time of six days and seven½ hours, 2 Canadian pilots have broken the international record for an around-the-globe flight by a unmarried-engine airplane. Don Muir, 26, and André Daemon, 22, shaved greater advantageous than 28 hours off the previous record. A crowd at Montreal’s Dorval airport cheers as their Cessna 210 touches down and digital camera operators jostle to take the 1st photograph of the effective team in this CBC television record.
