it is a bacterial infection in the throat.. particularly streptococcus bacteria..

signs and symptoms are:

sore throat

fever

swollen lymphs

changes in voice

difficulty in swalowing

better see a doctor when you feel these signs & symptoms.. throat infections are related to rheumatic heart diseases..
