Depends on what you mean by best.
Do you mean to have students with the highest test scores? To develop a higher love of learning English in your students? Be the most popular teacher with the kids? Be the most popular with parents? Be the most popular with other teachers?
“Best” is so subjective. sigh.

You are there to teach the children and not compete with other teachers. Concentrate on being the best English teacher for the sake of the students you teach.

Really there is no hard & fast rule,~but~maybe~ find out what “super teachers “from your school days did & try & emulate them.
2) Try using different teaching styles & gauge students responses!~use the styles that gave +ve~ responses!

Have your students write, write, write….and have them write about what they know, love and worry about. This will make their writing relevant. All kids have the need to be “heard” in a society that really doesn’t listen. If you give your students an outlet to voice who they are than you will truly be giving them a gift.
