Hi evr1

Wiki is sweet if your looking for a information basis or develop a (foundation) for your research. Yahoo! is great for opinions or information source feed back. Copernic is great for indepth research as it will go outside the box in most cases with its massive web crawlers that span many search sites including Yahoo, Google ext…

lol, anyways Copernic is free to download at Copernic.com if your looking to get outside the “box” and sumise your searches…for thos of you stuck in the box.

C’mon, you can’t seriously think we don’t go around the rest of the internet, do you. You don’t seem that dumb. We do serious reading, research and ask friends about sometimes stupid questions people ask. The we spend a few minutes writing them down for you all. Ask a creative answer, then you will know how creative we can be.

In summary, this site is definitely not better or worse than wikipedia. It is an exchange site where we give our sincere insights and not only for the sake of 2 points but sometimes we get more kicks. whereas , wikipedia is one-sided non-responsive but great site to gather info. Wikipedia is like a library, where Y!A is like a convention.

Actually, quite a few people that answer questions on this site, do in fact use the Internet quite frequently. A lot of answers provided to questions are researched on the Internet and people take the time to do a little research to help people out. If you will notice a lot of web sites are referenced as the source.

And yes, there are a few that will add sleazy remarks just to attain points.

This site can only be as good as the people that use it.

This site us answered by real people in real time. Although Wikipedia can be altered, yahoo questions can be answered by people who dont really know what they are talking about oor just to get two points. I like Wikipedia better.

It is easier to interact with people on this web site than on the others when I surf the net this computer locks up and to get it to even move again I have to unplug from the internet cable.

They put so many cookies into the machines they won’t work.

Everyone complains that over two web sites and the computer is frozen solid. Yet, here it doesn’t do that no one is putting cookies into my computer and freezeing it up.

It is very discourageing I wanted to read what the diet from the bible would be like, just curious. They wanted my E mail address my home address and by the time I put it in there it was so locked up I never did get to see the diet. But I imageine now I will get tons of junk mail about it.

Don’t they realize that discourages people from surfing the net?

It depends on the type of questions being asked. For instance, wikipedia doesn’t have information on how to deal with people, whether or not u r fat (yeah a lot of people ask that), etc. However wikipedia would be more reliable for technical questions.

At times people do ask questions that could be answered with a simple search, yeah… But perhaps at other times people want to know what other people think about something. And besides, yahoo answers is fun.

But, yeah, I think the whole idea of yahoo answers is defeated when people just get their answers from wikipedia.

Wikipedia is famous, but has too many stupid users. Yahoo Answers really tells many peoples opinion or reasons without really screwing info they find because the user can chose what answer is best. No wiki is needed

one element to bear in ideas is which you would be able to no longer basically cite something because of the fact it is not Wikipedia. often, you could no longer use encyclopaedias (tertiary components) for direct citations – they serve to collect suggestions, and could grant components. try making use of Google pupil to hunt by using classes, journals and white papers. Get to understand the maximum well liked publishers interior the sphere, and evaluate those with different classes.
