Infamous eagle scouts?
there was a site out on the web years ago that has since disappeared , it said something like-‘just because your and eagle scout doesn’t mean your great’ and listed infamous eagle scouts. Do you know of any infamous eagles scouts?

Actually, only a few US presidents have been Boy Scouts and the only recent one I know that earned the rank of Eagle was Gerald Ford.

All eagle scouts are infamous in my opinion– but to answer your question more directly, my pea brain does hear a little memory bell about eagle scouts who misused their position of leadership on a camping trip, thus causing lawsuits to fly over various allegations. The infamous eagle scouts. It may lurk in Google somewhere, an actual factual story…

I don’t personally know of any, but every group has jerks. I know of a couple of kids in my son’s troop who got Eagle who may BECOME infamous some day, especially given the tactics they used to earn the rank, that’s certain 😉 Some folks JUST don’t get it. And yes, my son IS an Eagle Scout (with silver palm), and hopefully he’ll never fall into that category.
