I’m going to Germany(For 11/12 grade) on Foreign Exchange… I need Help?

I’ll be going to Germany for my 11th and 12th grade years.

They told me the dress code and it’s pretty much the same as my school now, But I Have a feeling they dress different.

Can anyone send a Link to Teen pics or Sites with clothes?

I’m in to the rock and Videogames (Yes I’m a Girl!).

schön!!

Wow! Good for you. You’ll have a wonderful time. I’ve hosted 12 exchange students, three of them German. (Auch, ich habe zwei Jarhe in Stuttgart gewohnt!) One thing I’ve noticed is that while there is quite a bit of difference in the way the boys dress the girls clothes are mostly similar.

This site will link you to on-line German teen magazines:

You might also post this question on the Y!A Deutsch site if you have not already done so.

Viel Glück!

heres a link for little girl clothes:

There’s United Colors of Benetton, which isn’t too preppy but comfortable, and Zara (kind of on the expensive side, but very good clothes). I’m not sure whether it’s still around, but there was this store called Madonna (not named after the singer) that was really cheap and offered comfy, cute clothes. Jackpot was another store that had cool clothes (sort of like the store Charlotte Russe) for a reasonable price. S. Oliver and Orsay both had some plain shirts (which were really cheap) along with other cute clothes. All of these stores are about the same price as AE and Hollister, but you pay more for less when you switch US dollars to Euros.

Don’t worry, you’ll be fine. We don’t really do the sweats thing here, which I’ve seen a lot as US high schools and colleges, and you may want to go easy on the whole makeup thing at first and keep it nice and natural looking, because I know at least at some secondary schools, the girls who spend too much time on hairstyling and heavy eyeliner application risk being called the hairdressers’ gang and usually aren’t the sharpest tools in the shed :o) But as I was saying, you’ll find that out for yourself within days, so just look forward to a wonderful experience.
