How do you rearrange a square with 12 coins (4 on each side) to a square with 5 on each side?

The corners of the square should have 2 coins stacked atop each other. That’s eight coins. The other four coins are placed between the corners.
Each side will have 2 + 1 + 2 = 5 coins.

emm.. is this even conceivable? because of the fact if there is 5 on the two facet then there’ll 5 alongside the acceptable and backside and four on the left and four on the appropriate. which ability there could be 18. EDIT: yea Chris B’s answer sounds greater useful lol
