There’s a board of people who design our money, so they probably get to decide, but I’m sure it’s basically in order of the most popular and influential presidents in our history. But what I want to know is which president was on the five dollar bill before Lincoln entered office. Or were they still using British currency back then?

And who IS “they” anyway?! Yup, the folk who mint the money. Under “coins” it’s said the practice of putting dead presidents’ pictures on them began in 1909…
