Do the UCs take into account the grades you receive after you’ve turned in your application?
I know we submit them w/o our fall 07grades finalized and they accept us around March. So we have to continually update our grades into the system for winter, spring, etc. I know if you get like Ds and Fs of course it’s going to affect it. But lets say you just go down a little bit like from 3.7 to 3.6, is that a big factor in determing acceptance or rejection?

Acceptence into the University of California is on a conditional basis.
Going from a 3.7 to 3.6 shouldn’t be a big deal, but I would advise you to not let your GPA drop further.
Also, you only have to update your Fall 07 grades when they instruct you to do so. They’ll see your Winter and Spring grades when you send in your transcript at the end of Spring.
Good luck!
