In general, some jobs will require college-transcripts (not al jobs will). The jobs that do, are much more interested in your higher education work than your high school work.

So why keep the high school transcripts? As it turned out, I applied for a very specialized graduate school that asked me for my high school transcripts. I didn’t have them and, when I went back to my high school to get them, I learned that my high school had flooded and my transcripts had been destroyed. Ultimately, I was able to get the transcript by requesting that my application to university be opened. However, I want to emphasize that this was EXTREMELY difficult and time consuming. Keep the transcript in a file and don’t look at it. You never know if you’ll need it. But, for the most part, you will not.
