Accepted with Pre-Law major?

I’ve been accepted to a college by selecting the pre-law major. There is not such thing as a pre-law Bachelors… right? Do I need to pick a field of study such as Political Science or Philosophy?

technically there is no such thing as a pre-law major… but at my school pre-law students are in the college of liberal arts and sciences. You will eventually have to pick a major to go into law school with. You can be any major to get into law school. You usually have until the end of your semester to pick which field of study you’d like to do.

You do not have to major in any particular major to attend law school. All you need is a bachelors degree and a good LSAT score. Besides being a Mechanical Engineering major, Mathematics, or Physics major can help you in what ever concentration of law that you may want to practice.
