What courses do you have to take before teachers college?
I want to become a teacher, but i have no idea what courses i need to take in university in order to get into teachers college. please help?

It very specifically depends upon the university/college you wish to attend for your teaching degree. I would suggest checking out the websites of your top colleges. Most of colleges now have websites, they also typically provide a list of qualifications you must meet before being accepted to their program. This could be anything from a general B.A. to a specific B.A., passing endorsement tests, taking a certain number of credits in your endorsement area, etc.

It would depend on the college you want to get into. Some want more qualifications, and some aren’t worried about what you have. You need to either find the website of the college (or colleges, if you have several in mind to choose from), or contact the college by phone.
Maybe you could even make an appointment to see someone at the college and ask them directly.

I got my degree from a university so I am not of much help. I would talk to the college or college you plan on attending and see what they would like. Sometimes credits don’t transfer from one place to another, I would also check on this.
