TAP school???
Anyone teach at a TAP school? I’d really like to hear positives AND negatives of the program. Our school will be a TAP school for the first time this year, and I’m extremely nervous. I want to hear real stories/examples of how this can affect my school day. The program coordinators (obviously) make it sound wonderful, but I hear so much negative (no specifics)…ANY specifics?!?!?!?

Hi, I went to elementary school in Canada and we had a TAP program. But basically, it wasnt anything special as I remembered it. There would be 1 day of the week where in the mornings we would do TAP related curriculum related to career and future goals and stuff like that. All in all, it was less than a memorable experience. I dont know, in my opinion it wasnt anything special (but thats just me). I later went onto a regional highschool business and technology program (International Business and Technology Program) after being in a grade 8 Excellence Beyond the Classroom program. But I dont remember TAP helping me out at all.
